The new Bath Road hotel overlooking the Heathrow Airport T5 runway comprises of 433 Holiday Inn bedrooms, 145 Staybridge studios and 45 one-bed apartments. The 623 bedrooms are located over six floors and include public areas, reception, restaurant, bar, café, gym and associated back of house areas. The hotel provides meeting space, conference room capacity and extensive public areas set around the five-storey atrium. The layout allows a series of internal and external courtyard spaces with guestrooms wrapped around the outside.
Working within the framework of IHG’s ‘Open Lobby’ concept, several distinct offerings have been created, including an artisan coffee shop, a vibrant bar, and an intimate dining area with theatre kitchen. Each of the 190 guestrooms of the Staybridge suites adheres to the brand demands of comfort combined with private kitchens. Both hotels share back of house areas allowing combined staffing and staff facilities, shared access for deliveries and linen storage creating better operational efficiency and ultimately reducing operational costs.
